So, seriously, are you rich or what’s the deal?

I can tell you that I’m certainly not rich, but I have figured out an efficient way to support my travel lifestyle. I work remotely, which means I can work from anywhere in the world, provided I have an internet connection!

I’ve also always been a budget traveler. Instead of staying in nice hotels or Airbnbs, I choose to stay in cheap or free accommodation through volunteering. This allows me to save money on accommodation and also gives me the opportunity to meet locals, while immersing myself in the local culture.

Where do you live?

I live everywhere! In order to pursue my passion for travel, I made the decision to give up the conveniences of a stable life. I don’t have an apartment, or any fixed rent. Rather, I live out of a backpack and move around from place to place. Although it isn’t always easy, it has allowed me to see incredible places around the world, and I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything.

What about visas, customs, and potentials dangers in each country you visit?

Traveling to new and exciting destinations can be a thrilling experience, but it’s important to keep in mind the logistics that come with international travel! Visas and customs procedures can vary widely from country to country, and it’s essential to do your personal research and ensure that you have all the necessary paperwork and permissions before embarking on your journey.

In addition to navigating the bureaucratic aspects of travel, it’s also important to be aware of potential dangers and risks. From petty crime to political instability, it’s important to stay informed about the current situation in your destination and take necessary precautions to stay safe. This might mean avoiding certain areas or taking extra care with your belongings, among other things.

Despite these potential challenges, traveling is truly a rewarding experience that broadens your horizons and exposes you to new cultures and ways of life. By taking the time to plan carefully and stay informed, you can ensure a safe and enjoyable journey that you’ll remember for years to come!

What are some safety tips for solo travelers?

Traveling as a solo traveler can be an incredibly rewarding and empowering experience, but it doesn’t come without risks. Make sure to always research your destination ahead of time to understand any cultural or social norms that might impact your safety. It’s also important to make sure you’re using reliable and reputable transportation – don’t accept rides from strangers or hitchhike! Here’s a blog post that will go much more in-depth about safety as a solo traveler. As a final note, always trust your instincts. If something, someone, or some place feels unsafe, remove yourself from the situation.

What are some of your favorite places?

One of the things I love most about traveling is the ability to immerse myself fully in a different culture and explore different ways of life. It’s hard to pick favorites, as each destination truly holds unique beauty and character. If I had to choose, I would say Italy and Thailand are two of my favorite countries. I’ve also explored both Italy and Thailand more than other countries, and having the ability to spend extended periods of time there (a couple of months each) added to the cultural experience.
